Ahrefs is a clever tool because many of the metrics it presents are pulled from the Internet rather than pulled from markers on your website’s code. That is why it allows you to grab information about your own website and about your competitor’s websites. These sorts of insights may be used to improve your standing on Google.
Overtake your competitors
Ahrefs allows you to see what your competitors are doing with their website, and that information is handy if your competitors appear before you on the Google search engine results. You do need an intermediate’s level of knowledge about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) if you wish to make the most of this tool, but the user interface is very well laid out and the visualizations are mostly self explanatory. Once you have taught yourself what each of the visualizations means and what each table means, then you can quickly begin to understand a great deal about your targeted website within just a few minutes of exploring the Ahrefs dashboard.
Accurate enough for most people
This tool does have a problem with accuracy, but that is true of many analytic programs. You are better off using this tool, Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics at the same time. Using all three will allow you to compare and contrast their results and recommendations to get a better view of what is going on.
